[OBJECTIVE]

Choose a company’s sustainability report and redesign it. Follow the design language of the brand and establish a cohesive visual communication in typography, tables, and charts. The goal is to deconstruct the design language and reconstruct it into an integrated, newly envisioned sustainability report.

[APPROACH]

The company that I chose was Canon, a manufacturer in the camera field and a company that cares about the environment. I tried to bring the Canon’s design language to the report design. Therefore, I kept the design and layout as simple as possible and used only two colors for the type.

The major challenge is considering every element in the spread and subtracting any components without functional purposes. The project provided the opportunity to learn from many great designers as well as a sort of pilgrimage to a good company with great design.
